This is a breakfast blog. A blog that started as a motivator but has become a part of my daily routine. A blog that forces me to wake up early rather than sleep till noon. One that gives me something to talk about when people ask what I am doing with my college degree. A space filler, ice breaker, internet tutorial, writing coach, confidence booster, creativity encourager, interview answer, hobby board, diary, and time waster. I, Laura, make breakfast every morning no matter how full or tired I am. The only exceptions are when I am traveling (in which case I will most likely describe my breakfast on the go) or when someone else makes the decision to eat out (heaven forbid). Unfortunately, both of these happen a lot; so, I have started to welcome eating out with open arms, opting to write reviews over starving or eating alone.

In regards to the rest of my blog, I have picked up a few other unemployedees who like breakfast just as much as I do AND are willing to help!

The animals in this column have nothing to do with the food I prepare. I am an animal person. Typically, the combination does not bode well for one's appetite, but the animals are just for decoration, so appetites are welcome.

I tried to think of a few more things that describe me and these are what I came up with:

1) If I did not have two older brothers that were lawyers, I am almost positive that I would not have a drivers license.

2) I changed the language setting on my computer to Spanish because I'd like to be fluent one day.

3)I used to be an athlete, but then college happened.

4)I landed a 5 foot jump on a moped once...then passed out.

5) My brother calls me L.C. (If I told you, I'd have to kill you)

6) I've seriously considered attaching my resume and LinkedIn profile to this site.

7) My second favorite animal is a sloth bear.
